ABOUT Partners Village Store
Since 1979, Partners Village Store & Kitchen has been one of the Southcoast’s most inviting and inspiring destinations, proudly offering local folks and visitors a lively, light-hearted shopping and dining experience. In addition to an ever-changing array of gifts, toys, books, cards, candy, specialty foods, and more, Partners is a center for community-inspired events featuring local authors, farmers, artisans, potters, poets, musicians… even local animals and favorite pets.
OUR HISTORY
In 1979, Partners opened as the first wine and beer-making supplies store in the area. Today, Partners Village Store has grown to include a unique selection of gifts, toys, specialty foods, and paper goods with an emphasis on the local community.
In 1980, we opened our kitchen, offering soups, sandwiches, sweets and other freshly made food. An intimate independent bookstore was added in 1990, offering good reading, new and old books, local authors and publications. In 1999, we published our first book, A Joyful Noise, under our new imprint Partners Village Press.
In 2007 we moved to our new home at 865 Main Road – a beautiful Victorian house just half a mile from our first location. We’ve improved our gift, toy, paper and book departments, and added additional seating to our cafe. But we’re still the same cozy, welcoming Partners you’ve come to love!
